The Yuan is staging its second annual outlook on what AI holds in store for 2023. Our squad of select experts will be augmented in this round by the inclusion of more submissions, for which we are seeking new contributors.

SHANGHAI - The year 2022 has been a momentous one for artificial intelligence (AI). AI has deployed to stop the COVID-19 pandemic in its tracks and brought a myriad of breakthroughs in many other fields, from materials to medicine to meteorology to military - and more - as The Yuan’s pundits often accurately predicted in our well-received inaugural 2022 AI series.

Following the resounding success of that opening salvo, The Yuan is now pleased to announce the opening of our second installment in this ongoing annual series that forecasts the evolution of AI in the coming year. On this occasion, we will be highlighting differing perspectives from our 2022 event, and feature more in the way of ethics, philosophy, tech, and other novel angles, as well as offering a more diverse kaleidoscope of views from a greater range of sources.
