AMSTERDAM - The Delta Dialog was conceived as a platform to discuss open data, open medical data, and artificial intelligence (AI). At the time of the introduction of the Delta Dialog, The Yuan had grown significantly, amassing a community of over 200 contributors and nearly 500 published articles. Initially focusing on general AI technology, the platform had expanded to cover AI philosophy, ethics, aesthetics, governance, and politics.

Emir explains that the Delta Dialog format is designed to facilitate balanced and insightful discussions. The show typically features three roles - the host, a commentator, and a guest speaker, each contributing to the dialog from different angles. This triangular structure symbolizes the balanced and rational nature of the discussions, aiming to capture diverse and inspiring ideas that are often lost in written formats.
