IOT Solutions World Congress 2024 to grandstand semiconductors for industry

A key part in computers, smartphones, cars, fridges, or any electronic device, semiconductors are critical to the IoT. This year’s IOT Solutions World Congress, the top global event for transforming industry with emerging tech, will highlight chip designers, makers and suppliers.

LONDON - The upcoming session of IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) set to run in Barcelona, Spain May 21 to 23 will bring together a significant number of semiconductor chip makers who will showcase their projects and products that will be key in digitalizing and modernizing industry.

Cognizant of semiconductors’ vital function in today’s industry and aiming to boost this sector locally, the Government of Catalonia will convene a large cohort of companies active in this field within in a single stand at the IOTSWC to be held at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue. 

These enterprises join their wares with those of other international firms of the ilk of ST Microelectronics, Lacroix, Qualcomm, Tessolve, and Würth Elektronik, which will all showcase their projects and initiatives in the semiconductor space.

The event will further Catalonia’s strategy of boosting the semiconductor industry. The creation of the Catalan Semiconductor Alliance, an initiative made up of various ministries of the Government of Catalonia, companies and research and innovation agents, who will work together to establish Catalonia as a leading hub of semiconductors in Europe, is on
