While access to the latest technology can deepen global inequality, it also has the potential to mitigate it. Around the world, artificial intelligence is already transforming developing countries, and yet the world is just scratching the surface of what it can do for human progress. To harness AI’s full power to advance development will require finding new ways to apply it.
