Kearney Partner Azaz Faruki views his career so far in terms of three acts. Armed with a degree in manufacturing engineering, he set off in the early 2000s to do technical and R&D work, which saw him spend a decade designing things such as engine components for military fighter jets, hardware for nuclear power generation, and 3D printed knee implants. He then moved into operational roles all around the world, including operational excellence and plant management in North America, Europe, and Asia. Then, he joined Kearney as an industry hire in 2015, specializing in manufacturing.
