As the 110th anniversary of the birth of Alan Turing, the father of modern computing, approaches, The Yuan is hosting the first global debate on allowing open access to medical data. Talented contributors from across the world will give their view on the pros and cons of open data sets to the advancement of digital health.

SHANGHAI - June 23, 2022, will be the 110th anniversary of Alan Turing's birth. Today, we human beings have embarked upon a new era that even Dr. Turing could never have imagined, one where data are the new oil. But if data are compartmentalized and sequestered in silos, this will inhibit and arrest the advance of artificial intelligence-aided healthcare and drug development.
